ELMO-LION Educational Learning MOdules on Li-ION batteries new European 6 ETCS Credit Doctoral‐level course. 1 January 2023 – 31 December 2025

Objective: train the next generation of scientists and engineers in the interdisciplinary and rapidly accelerating field of Li-ion batteries

Three main pillars:

•online lectures offered by experts on battery fabrication, characterization, spectroscopy, simulations and advanced diagnostics

•working cases and challenges from industrial partners to be solved by PhD student teams

•a venture‐creation summer school

Location: Lecture room C123 of Exactum building of the Kumpula campus, and lobby of Exactum.
Timing: The programme will start 10:00am and end tentatively at 18:00.

ELMO-LION is a new European PhD level course and a summer school on battery technology and innovation, funded by EIT RawMaterials.
