
ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
Join Battery 2030+’s 6th Annual Conference on May 7-8th, a two-day event full of insightful discussions on battery research! A special opportunity is organised on May 6th for young scientists.
BATTERY 2030+ is a European large-scale research initiative reinventing the way we invent batteries.
The 6th Annual Conference will be held physically on May 7-8th in Turin, giving you the opportunity to network with key stakeholders of the battery research community and engage in meaningful discussions to empower green innovation in this field!
This Annual Conference will include:

THE VENUE
The event will take place at Politecnico di Torino, the first international technical university in Italy and one of the most renowned engineering universities in Europe.
With a strong focus on innovation and industrial collaboration, Politecnico di Torino plays a key role in the European research and innovation ecosystem and in the development of advanced technologies for the energy transition and digital transformation.

NETWORKING EVENTS
WELCOME COCKTAIL
Young Scientists will be able to start off the event with a relaxed networking drink on May 6, from 18:00 to 20:00, at the beautiful Castello del Valentino. It’s the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow attendees before the main sessions begin!
NETWORKING DINNER
Join us for an unforgettable Networking Dinner on May 7 at 20:00, hosted at the event venue. Enjoy an evening of great food, conversation, and celebration.
Both events are included in your conference ticket. To help us minimize food waste, please confirm your attendance or update your plans if needed. You can indicate this when booking your ticket or by contacting us at conference@clerens.eu
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
You are all welcome to contribute with your abstract to our BATTERY 2030+ annual conference where we are focusing on next-generation battery technologies, such as future battery chemistries, smart functionalities, accelerated material discovery, advanced battery modelling and characterization, new manufacturing and recycling processes.

SITE VISITS
Two site visits will be offered to participants on the afternoon of Friday 8th May (more details will follow):
- COMAU, for advanced manufacturing and automation in battery and e-mobility value chains
- STELLANTIS, battery technology center
The site visits are free of charge, but advance registration is required. You can sign up for a site visit when booking your conference ticket via a separate ticket called add-on. The site visits have limited capacity, and tickets will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis until they are fully booked.
Please note that the two visits will take place simultaneously, so you can only register for one.
Registrations will open March 9th 2026
