BATTERY 2030+ at the R&I Days in Brussels


BATTERY 2030+’s Kristina Edström, Coordinator and Professor of Inorganic Chemistry at Uppsala University, together with Philippe Jacques, Managing Director at Emiri, participated in the session “Future generations of sustainable batteries” at the R&I Days in Brussels on 25 September.

The debate focused on the challenges and opportunities of battery production in the EU and addressed how today’s environmental and societal challenges in the transport and energy sectors imply a radical transformation towards the use of clean technologies.

Oliver Schauerte, Volkswagen Group, Patrick de Metz, Saft and Clara de la Torre, European Commission, DG Clima, also participated in the debate.
