Nobel Prize activities in Stockholm and Uppsala related to the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for the Li-ion battery.
Nobel lectures in Chemistry and Physics at Uppsala University, in the University Main Building on 13th of December at 10:15–11:45.
The Nobel Laureate in Chemistry M. Stanley Whittingham and the Nobel laureate in Physics Michel Mayor give public lectures on the research that led to their Nobel Prizes.
For many years it has been a tradition to invite the new Nobel Prize laureates to Uppsala University in connection with the Nobel Prize festivities in Stockholm. The programme for the visit includes a reception with the Vice-Chancellor and lunch at Uppsala Castle, but also much appreciated and well-attended open lectures by the guest laureates.
No registration is necessary. Seats must be taken by 10.00. Come in good time to secure a good seat at the lecture.
